If you are going to be traveling with your feline, a cat carrier is a must. An unrestrained cat could get injured or killed or could cause a wreck. Your kitty will actually feel safer inside the secure walls of the carrier than being loose. Also, any elimination or vomit will be confined to the crate instead of all over your vehicle.
